The GAIKINDO Indonesia International Auto Show (GIIAS) 2026 concluded successfully on August 3 at BSD Exhibition Center in Tangerang, Banten. Jiangxi Xintian Auto Industry Co., Ltd. made its debut appearance at this year’s exhibition, highlighting its Thailand production facility and presenting core thermal management products at the auto parts pavilion.

Leveraging the production capacity and geographic advantages of its Thailand production facility, XINTIAN established direct business connections with multiple Indonesian repair chains and regional distributors within just two days of the show, taking a solid step forward in deepening its presence in Southeast Asia’s aftermarket.

Addressing Japanese Vehicle Market Demand Through Focused Product Solutions

As the largest automotive market in Southeast Asia, Indonesia is dominated by Japanese brands (Toyota, Honda, Suzuki, Daihatsu, etc.), which represent a dominant share of the Indonesian automotive market. The hot and humid tropical climate drives high-frequency replacement demand for cooling systems and core components.

Instead of presenting a broad but less targeted product range, XINTIAN precisely targeted this regional characteristic. The company showcased six core product categories: Intake Manifolds, Condensers, Radiators, Heater Cores, HVAC Air Door Actuator, and Transfer Case Motors — covering key systems including air intake, thermal management, HVAC control, and drivetrain applications. With this product matrix covering multiple automotive systems, XINTIAN demonstrated its systematic parts supply capabilities to the Indonesian market.

During the exhibition, the visitor profile was highly concentrated — primarily comprising local Indonesian repair shop owners and regional small-scale wholesalers. Their primary focus was on product material quality, structural strength, corrosion resistance, and fitment compatibility with original OE parts. The XINTIAN team earned high recognition from visiting buyers through professional product consultation and rapid application support.

“From Contact to Connection”: Building a Stronger Southeast Asian Channel Foundation

Due to the overall foot traffic at the auto parts pavilion and the limited exhibition window for Chinese participants, visitor flow gradually increased from the second day of the show. XINTIAN’s team made the most of its strategic booth location at the intersection of the main aisle near the exit, achieving effective customer engagement despite relatively limited overall visitor traffic.Discussions remained highly practical, centering on batch supply lead times for condensers and radiators, product durability under tropical conditions, and packaging and logistics solutions tailored to the Indonesian market.

“We do not measure exhibition success by visitor volume alone; we focus on the genuine business opportunities behind every connection and the real demand represented by every business card. Indonesia has a strong Japanese vehicle parc, and cooling system components are high-frequency replacement items. Our Thailand production facility provides clear advantages in regional supply response and market proximity. From Chonburi to Jakarta, we benefit from shorter logistics routes and regional supply advantages,” said the XINTIAN business representative at the show.

Moving forward, we will use the vehicle model and operating condition feedback collected during the exhibition to accelerate the development and stocking of Indonesia-specific SKUs through our Thailand production facility’s flexible production lines, ensuring that “XINTIAN quality” performs reliably in equatorial climates.

Rooted in Southeast Asia, Committed to Long-Term Growth in the Global Aftermarket

With GIIAS Indonesia as a starting point, XINTIAN is undergoing a strategic transformation from “product export” to “application adaptation.” The full commissioning of the Chonburi production base in Thailand has not only strengthened XINTIAN’s ability to serve Southeast Asia’s 600-million-person market but also marked a new phase in XINTIAN’s globalization strategy — “localized manufacturing with regional supply efficiency.”

Building on decades of R&D and manufacturing expertise in the thermal exchange sector, XINTIAN will continue to closely monitor structural growth opportunities in high-temperature regions including Southeast Asia, the Middle East, and Latin America.

Looking ahead, XINTIAN remains committed to orienting its business around end-users’ real-world operating conditions, continuously refining its localized product database and rapid-response mechanisms. With the Thailand factory as a new strategic hub, XINTIAN will deliver more competitive thermal management solutions designed for demanding climate conditions, working hand-in-hand with global partners to share in the long-term growth of the global automotive aftermarket.
